We would like to inform you of some good news regarding our practice.
Since 2019, part of our team has been delivering care to patients registered with Medina Medical Centre. We originally provided care for these patients at Kingsway Health Centre and since June 2021 have been delivering care from our Malzeard Road building.
We are delighted that we have been successful in taking on the delivery of care for Medina Medical Centre patients on a permanent basis, and from 1 March 2022 they will join our Malzeard Road patient list.
Patients already registered with Malzeard Road Medical Centre will still access services in the same way, and with no change to the way you contact the practice. From March 2022 there will be one reception area which will be staffed our Malzeard Road team.
By bringing together the two patient groups, it will provide us with more resilience and stability whilst enabling us to continue to deliver high quality care to our patients. By joining our two teams we will be able to share our resources, so that patients have access to a greater number of medical staff, it will also enable us to improve our administrative and office functions.
Our GP partners and staff are looking forward to being part of one larger team. It will help us to maintain and improve the care we provide as we manage the pressures of General Practice and should give us access to more opportunities in the future when and if they arise.
