Dear Patients,
We are commencing sending out unique invitation links for you to book your Flu vaccination for this year if you are aged over 65 years or in an eligible at risk group. You will receive this link via the mobile number we have recorded on your record.
When you receive your link please book your appointment as soon as possible as the link is only active for 7 days.
When prompted for your date of birth you can either select it by using the drop down calendar or you can enter your date of birth using the following format –
dd/mm/yyyy for example 01/01/2022.
When booking please ensure you click the drop down box on the calendar.
Please do not call the surgery to book your vaccination if possible as this will jam the telephone lines. If you can no longer attend your appointment please cancel your appointment. This can easily be done by calling the surgery and from the appointments main menu select cancel and follow the instructions.
If you are eligible we will contact you but we are sending the invites out in batches, so please do not worry. If you attend the surgery and you are eligible you will be offered your vaccination at this time.
This is applicable for the Childhood Nasal Flu clinics too, links are being sent to Parents/Guardians if your child has your mobile number recorded on their record.
Unless you formally decline by letting us know we will continue to invite you. If you do decline then change your mind you can still have the vaccination.
To be able to manage the footfall we ask that you attend at your chosen appointment time, please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. Please wear suitable clothing so your arm is easily accessible.
